CEB hands over proposal to reduce power tariffs
Media spokesperson CEB, Eng. Noel Priyantha said that the CEB had handed over a proposal to reduce the electricity tariffs to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) yesterday (12).
He said low-income households would be the main beneficiaries of the tariff reduction. A tariff reduction was possible as the country received substantial rainfall over the past few months.
