Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister visits holy city of Madinah

Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi with the Deputy Minister of National Integration Muneer Mulaffar, Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawas with an official during their visit to the Quba Mosque

Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, together with the Deputy Minister of National Integration Muneer Mulaffar, recently visited the holy city of Madinah as a part of their recent visit to Saudi Arabia to sign the Hajj Agreement.

The Minister also took the opportunity to explore the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization and gained insights into the life of Prophet Muhammad and the development of Islamic civilization in Madinah. Additionally, the Minister visited the Quba Mosque, the first mosque ever built in the history of Islam.

The Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawas, also accompanied the Minister.
