Big scene for Manilal
Singer Manilal Perera certainly has a lot of work coming his way, as a solo singer, and that is precisely the reason why he is not in the Mirage lineup to the Seychelles.
Although he is now very much a part of the group, he says he has to fulfill his prior commitments.
He will be doing his thing at the Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya, from the 23rd of December to the 31st of December, 2023.
What’s more, this particular contract will be valid for the next couple of years, says Manilal, adding that he has already confirmed it.
He will be doing guest spots with the hotel’s resident band Index 33.
In the meanwhile, last week Mirage had quite a few extra commitments before they left for the Seychelles.
Their last gig in Colombo was at One Galle Face on Friday, December 1st.
Mirage left on December 3rd and will be back on January 15th, 2024.
A couple of weeks later, they leave for Australia, with Manilal in the lineup.
