Punjab Kings chased down Kolkata Knight Rider’s 261 in a record-bringing run-chase at the Eden Gardens. Despite a splendid all-round performance from Sunil Narine, multiple records tumbled as Punjab Kings, led by Jonny Bairstow’s unbeaten century, and quickfire fifties from Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh, registered an eight-wicket win with eight balls to spare over Kolkata Knight Riders in a scarcely believable contest at the Eden Gardens on Friday (April 26).

Brief Scores:
Kolkata Knight Riders 261/6 in 20 overs (Phil Salt 75, Sunil Narine 71, Venkatesh Iyer 39, Andre Russel 24, Shreyas Iyer 28; Sam Curran 1-60,  Arshdeep Singh 2-45, Harshal Patel 1-48, Rahul Chahar 1-33) lost to  Punjab Kings 262/2 in 18.4 overs (Jonny Bairstow 108*, Shashank Singh 68*, Prabhsimran Singh 54, Rilee Rossouw 26; Sunil Narine 1-24) by 8 wickets
