Aloka Elders’ Home takes care of elderly person on the road

Aloka Elders’ Home recently accommodated an elderly person of around 70 whose children are said to be in Italy.

Aloka Elders’ Home is located on the land belonging to Panadura, Pinwatta Saddharmakara Pirivena, and is managed by the Aloka Human Development Foundation with the help of people of humanitarian hearts.

According to Piyal Fernando, Chief Controller of Aloka Human Development Foundation, Aloka Elders’ Home currently has around 100 residents, of which around 40 are spending time as disabled. It was the OIC of the Panadura South Police Children’s and Women Bureau who came to the Aloka Elders’ Home and made a request for the Home to take care of this elderly person.
