Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-central and Uva provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kurunegala districts during the early hours of the morning.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at most places of the island after 1.00 pm. Heavy showers are likely at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in Galle, Matara and Anuradhapura districts.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva province and in Ampara, Batticaloa and Mullaitivu districts after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times over the Western slopes of the central hills, the North-central, North-western and Southern provinces and in Trincomalee district.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
