Showers or thundershowers may occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Southern provinces and in Ampara district in the morning and in most parts of the island after 1.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm are likely at some places in Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Badulla, Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.
A few showers may occur in the Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa, Matale and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa province and in Galle, Matara and Kaluthara districts after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places.
Fairly strong winds of about 40 kmph can be expected at times over the Eastern slopes of the central hills, the Northern province and in Hambantota and Monaragala districts.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Southern province and in Kaluthara and Rathnapura districts after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places in Galle and Matara districts. Mainly fair weather will prevail in other areas of the island.
