Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Badulla district during the morning.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Southern, Eastern, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Central provinces in the evening or night.
Winds will be North-easterly or Easterly and wind speed will be (20-25) kmph in the sea areas around the island. Wind speed may increase up to (40-45) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coasts extending from Galle to Hambantota via Matara and from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar.
The sea areas off the coasts extending from Galle to Hambantota via Matara and from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar can be fairly rough at times. The other sea areas around the island will be Slight. Strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
The public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western Uva and Southern provinces during the afternoon or night.
Fairly heavy showers about 50mm can be expected at some places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Fairly heavy showers about 75mm can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-western provinces.
