Vaccination against COVID-19 is landwide from today – Pavithra
Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi yesterday said that vaccination against COVID-19 would take place islandwide from today.
Wanniarachchi, who is undergoing treatment at the IDH Hospital after contracting COVID-19, said that she was happy that the vaccination process had commenced.
“Since I am being treated at the IDH, I couldn’t join the programme on Friday. This marks an important point in our fight against COVID-19.”
