Unveiling the culinary wizardry of Master Chef Liang at Yi Jing

Yi Jing, the latest addition to the Chinese culinary scene in Colombo, is located on Level 4 at ITC Ratnadipa. Skillfully blending tantalizing and robust flavours of Chinese cuisine, from the new and modern to timeless classics, Yi Jing doesn’t disappoint said the press release. The release said witness the making of hand-pulled noodles, perfected by Chef Xu Tao, with giant dough on the counter-top magically transformed and swung into a folding, spinning and stretching set of noodles. This show-stopping theatric has gained momentum in just a short span of time in Colombo.

Adding to these offerings, and here to redefine the perception of Chinese cuisine, Master Chef Liang is in town, to celebrate the culinary artistry of Yi Jing with some of his renowned dishes this month There is a line-up of spectacular Chinese specialties with meticulous presentation, bursting with authentic flavour as he showcases a unique ala-carte menu during his visit a release said.

Featuring an array of dim sum from the Shanghai Xiao Long Bao to the Prawn rice noodle roll and Crystal prawn dumplings, his signature dishes will include the famous black pepper beef tenderloin, Pork belly stew Hunan-style, cumin lamb Xinjiang-style and shredded chicken with Hoisin sauce and pancake just to name a few. Topping it all off, Yi Jing will also present the Sri Lankan King Crab with Sichuan chili, all curated by the Master Chef himself.
