Trading in Melstacorp PLC amounts to 23% of total turnover at CSE
The All Share Price Index (ASPI ) at the Stock Market ended higher amid healthy turnover levels with most sectors witnessing advances, John Keells Stock Brokers said yesterday.
Melstacorp PLC, Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC and Lanka IOC PLC led market activity with crossings also seen in WindForce PLC, CDB, and HNB. Trading in Melstacorp amounted to 23% of total turnover.
*Food, Beverage and Tobacco was the most actively traded sector (+1.14%)
*Commercial and Professional Services was the best performing sector (+3.47%)
*Energy was the worst performing sector (-1.63%)
