‘The Scholarly Discourse on Indian Literature’ – Monthly Lecture – 7
The seventh edition of the Scholarly Discourse on Indian Literature lecture series is scheduled to be held at 4.30 pm on Oct 26 at the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies [CCIS], University of Colombo, to mark the 10th anniversary of the CCIS, and the 75th anniversary of the Independence of India. The seventh lecture, titled on ‘A New Approach towards Indian Cinema Literature,’ is scheduled to be delivered by veteran dramatist and cinema artist Jayantha Chardrasiri.
Interested audiences can participate in this event, via Zoom, Facebook and YouTube. This scholarly lecture series has been organized by the CCIS to strengthen the academic ties between India and Sri Lanka, under the guidance of Chair Senior Professor Upul Ranjith Hewawitanagamage (Director, CCIS).
