Sri Lankan among Asia’s Young Achievers
A young Lankan, Shukri Salman, 25, has been this year recognized as an “Asia’s Young Achiever” by the World Research Congress recognizing outstanding achievements in academia and corporate excellence globally.Salman currently works for a large multinational company, is an entrepreneur and a lecturer. He attended Lyceum International School, where he served as a Senior Prefect, House Games Captain, and Soccer vice-Captain.
He obtained three A* grades in Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics at the Advanced Level and was awarded Top in the Country with a World rank for Economics at the Advanced Level Examination. He was also recognized as one of the top achievers worldwide at the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards – University of Cambridge International Examinations – UK.
Salman’s higher education began in the field of finance and management, and he went on to successfully completing ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) – Global chartered professional qualification and BSc (Hons) in Business and Management from the University of Northumbria. He also recently completed the MBA with a Merit pass.
