The Grand Kanydyan hotel kicked off the festive season with a spectacular Christmas light switch-on event, complemented by a delightful Christmas high tea buffet. The hotel celebrated this magical occasion with a heartwarming carol service, featuring the divine voices of the École International students and the Grand Kandyan Choir.
The highlight of the evening was the breathtaking gigantic Christmas castle set up in the hotel atrium. As the choirs sang carols around this magnificent centerpiece, the event truly felt like a fairy tale come to life. The incredible decorations were the work of the hotel’s talented kitchen artist, Chef Thilina Madawela, and his dedicated team.
