Speaker names new COPE and COPA members

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena on Friday announced the new members appointed to the Committee On Public Enterprises (COPE) and the Committee On Public Accounts (COPA).

Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Susil Premajayantha, Jayantha Samaraweera, Dilum Amunugama, Indika Anuruddha Herath, Sarath Weerasekara, D. V. Chanaka, Nalaka Godahewa, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, MPs Rauff Hakeem, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Jagath Pushpakumara, Eran Wickramaratne, Ranjan Ramanayake, Nalin Bandara, S. M. Marikkar, Premnath C. Dolawatte, Charitha Herath and Shanakiya Rajaputhran Rasamanickam were appointed to the COPE.

Ministers Udhaya Gammanpila, Duminda Dissanayake, Dayasiri Jayasekara, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Shehan Semasinghe, Prasanna Ranaweera and MPs Tissa Attanayake, Tissa Vitarana, Harin Fernando, Niroshan Perera, Faizal Cassim, Ashok Abeysinghe, Buddhika Pathirana, Cader Mastan, S. Sridaran, Upul Galappatti, B. Y. G. Ratnasekara, Weerasumana Weerasinghe, Ranjith Bandara, Mohammed Muzammil and Harini Amarasuriya were appointed to the COPA.
