Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, Uva and Southern provinces after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces.
Winds will be variable and wind speed will be (15-25)kmph.
The sea areas around the island will be slight but strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers will occur at times in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, Uva and Central provinces and in Hambantota district. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm are likely at some places in the Uva province and in Batticaloa, Ampara, Hambantota and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy
showers above 50 mm are likely at some places.
Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times over Northern and North-western provinces and in Matale, Trincomalee and Anuradhapura districts.
