Anora’s creator Sean Baker has made Oscars history – becoming the first person to win four Oscars for a single film.

He took the top prize for writing, directing, editing and producing Anora.

And the film’s star – Mikey Madison took the top actress prize for her role as the sex worker who marries a Russian playboy.

Walt Disney won four Oscars in one night in 1954 but it was for four separate films. In 2020, the film Parasite also won four Oscars – but only three were for director Bong Joon Ho personally, as best international feature film was awarded to South Korea.
