Sajith offers solution to urban accommodation problem
An SJB government will offer a permanent solution to the housing issues faced by residents within the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) limits, SJB presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa has said.
Addressing a campaign rally at Kirulapone yesterday, Premadasa pledged to launch large-scale urban housing projects under a future administration. He criticised Wickremesinghe for failing to address the housing problem. ” Wickremesinghe has been Prime Minister more than five times and has been President for two years. Yet, he has done nothing to resolve the urban housing crisis,” he stated.
At the same rally, SJB stalwart Hirunika Premachandra remarked that the public now faced a choice between Sajith Premadasa and an alliance of Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Ranil Wickremesinghe.
“These two men have joined forces and are conspiring to defeat Sajith. This is exactly what happened in 2019. Ranil plotted against Sajith when they were in the same party, and now he is conspiring against us even while in a different party,” she said.
