‘Reconciliation’ Once More
By Lynn Ockersz
Reconciliation sure is needed,
After all, murderous violence,
Is sweeping the troubled Isle,
With new vigour, we may say,
But our mandarins at the helm,
Are, alas, reinventing the wheel,
By erecting numberless facades,
Such as Commissions and Offices,
Whereas, the key to Reconciliation,
Is locked away in their hearts,
And only needs some turning;
For, doesn’t an inner voice say:
‘Do unto others, as you would,
Have them do unto you’?
