New VC for South Eastern University

Prof. Rameez Aboobucker has been appointed the new Vice Chancellor of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.
Prof. Aboobuker holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the National University of Singapore, and has already served as Head of the Department and Faculty Dean at the same university.
Rameez, 43, is a graduate of the Souther Eastern University and one of the youngest Vice Chancellors in Sri Lanka. He succeeds Vice Chancellor Prof. M. M. M. Najim.
