Navy detect 01kg of TNT high explosives in Gurunagar, Jaffna
A special search operation carried out by the Navy at the Gurunagar Jetty, Jaffna this morning (17th October 2023) led to the detection of 1.95 kg of TNT high explosives and 03ft and 04-inch-long safety fuse which was hidden in the shrubs.
It is suspected that the explosive items had been hidden to be used for illegal fishing activities.
