Rezan Jiffry hails from a business family. His father and his siblings are involved in the apparel industry. Originally from Kandy, Rezan using his experience in the apparel industry with his family,Rezan represents the quintessential story of a modern businessman with his incredible business acumen.He had a vision to start something of his own since he made use of his creativity and flair to manufacture stylish tee-shirts under the brand LCY. This is the first Sri Lankan Polo brand to export through online digital portal directly to the customers to their home during the pandemic situation.

LCY manufactures premium labels both locally and internationally during a short span of time. The popularity of LCY tee-shirts spead far and wide, To cater to the large clientale I opened a sales out at the Shangrila mall.

His experience working with his father and his innate ability led him to open an outlet at the Shangrila Mall.

When asked why he took the challenge to open an outlet in the premium mall, at this time of Covid crisis. ‘There is a vacuum in the niche market for quality tee-shirts”, he explained. Business is very slow at the moment, but if we take the pandemic seriously we can’t uplift our economy from within. It is a challenge right now, my advice to everybody is to overcome all challenges, have a clear vision to make all decisions. Rezan quipped “I am always driven by passion and challenges. Competitions are high, market gaps are minimal But I took my courage, to take the plunge.
