Mahinsa shines as Lumbini rout Mahanama
Under 17 Division I Cricket
Pasindu Mahinsa scored unbeaten 39 runs after picking up three wickets as Lumbini commenced the campaign of the Under 17 Division I cricket tournament with a huge eight wickets victory over Mahanama, Panadura in the first round match played at BRC ground on Tuesday.
Put to bat, Mahanama were shot out for 80 runs of which 30 were from extras. Heshan Kavija who made 15 was the only batsman to reach double figures for Mahanama. Paceman Mahinsa picked up three wickets while spinners Dinal Sewmina (off-spinner) and Yashod Kavindu (left-arm spinner) shared five wickets between them.
Lumbini reached the victory target in just seven overs with Mahinsa top scoring with an unbeaten 39.
