Lanza quits portfolio
Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure State Minister Nimal Lanza yesterday resigened from his ministerial post. (22).
Political sources said that the resignation followed a simmering dispute over some ongoing development projects. Earlier, Lanza came under fire from Puttalam District State Minister Sanath Nishantha with the latter threatening to take on the colleague publicly.
