Lanka Sathosa reduces prices of essentials
Lanka Sathosa has announced reductions in the prices of several essential consumer goods.
Among the items with reduced prices are imported big onions, which have seen a decrease of Rs. 10, bringing the new price to Rs. 220. The price of wheat flour has been lowered by Rs. 10, now available at Rs. 165, while white sugar is reduced by Rs. 5, with the new price set at Rs. 235. Red lentils price has been reduced by Rs. 3, and the new price is Rs. 285, and the price of imported white kekulu rice has been reduced by one rupee to Rs. 209.
