Landslide Early Warnings issued to Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle and Ratnapura Districts
The Landslide Early Warning Center of the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued warnings to the Districts of Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle and Ratnapura effective up to 1600hrs today (06)
Accordingly, Level II warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions of Ingiriya and Bulathsinhala in the Kalutara district, Warakapola in the Kegalle district and Kuruwita, Ratnapura and Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura district.
Level I warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions of Baddegama, Nagoda and Elpitiya in the Galle district, Wallalawita, Palindanuwara and Matugama in the Kalutara district, Udapalatha in the Kandy district, Yatiyanthota, Bulathkohupitiya, Dehiowita, Deraniyagala and Ruwanwella in the Kegalle district and Kriella, Kalawana and Ayagama in the Ratnapura district.
