Keeping overworked hospital staff happy
Gypsies Sunil Perera is doing fine, said his brother Piyal Perera. He is now out of danger and is looking forward to starting his life, in the ‘new normal.’
However, Piyal did add that there are a few more tests to be done, to ensure that everything is now totally under control.
Being an entertainer par excellence, Sunil still finds it difficult to lead a sedate life, for a short while more, until he is fully fit.
The natural instinct is there and he is said to be keeping the hospital staff, and doctors, in a happy mood.
He has even requested for a guitar, from the doctors, treating him, saying he wants to sing and keep the overworked staff happy.
Piyal also mentioned that Sunil has plans to have a concert, when he has fully recovered, and has even indicated to his brother how it should be done and what the opener should be.
That’s great thinking, for one has always got to think positive, and that makes life a lot better.
Piyal went on to say that when Sunil does return home, he will have to rest for quite a while, in order to get his energy back.
“And, I’m also going to make certain that Sunil gets himself vaccinated.”
In the meanwhile, the rest of the family members, including Sunil’s wife, who were tested positive for Covid-19, are all doing good, said Piyal.
But…sadness enveloped this famous family when their cousin, and ex-Gypsies vocalist, Neville Perera, succumbed to Covid, last week.
