The company has launched Sri Lanka’s first Tap to Pay taxi-hailing service, revolutionizing the way passengers pay for rides. Now, passengers can simply tap their Visa or Mastercard on the driver’s NFC-enabled phone, completely eliminating cash and POS terminals. This innovative solution is set to streamline transactions, ensuring a smooth, hassle-free experience for both passengers and drivers.

In partnership with Genie Business, Kangaroo Cabs has integrated a system that automatically retrieves the correct fare, minimizing the time spent on payment and ensuring accuracy with every transaction. Kusal Fonseka, Director of Finance at Kangaroo Cabs, commented, “This collaboration is a huge leap forward.
