ILM Shipping boost logistic sector with addition of 20 new prime movers

International Logistics and Movers Pvt Ltd & ILM Shipping Services Pvt Ltd have made a strategic leap in Sri Lanka’s logistics sector, by investing in 20 brand new prime movers to meet the increasing demand for efficient terminal services at the Ports of Colombo and Hambantota.

Hadley Rodrigo, Group CEO of ILM Holdings, shared his pride in this milestone achievement, describing it as a “privilege” to be working with such key partners as CICT (Colombo International Container Terminals) and HIPG (Hambantota International Port Group). “We are fully dedicated to meeting the terminal’s needs, and we will work tirelessly to ensure the success of this collaboration,” Rodrigo stated. “Beyond just providing services, we are partners in growth,” Rodrigo emphasized, highlighting the mutual trust and synergy that make these partnerships so powerful.

Tressel Silva, CEO of ILM Shipping Services, said that the opportunity to deploy our fleet for ITV operations at Hambantota is an exciting challenge.” He emphasized that ILM Shipping is poised to scale up operations as the volume of container vessels calling at Hambantota increases. With this new deployment, ILM is not just transforming logistics operations but also creating new job opportunities in both Colombo and Hambantota.
