HUTCH partners with Rainforest Protectors Sri Lanka to launch rainforest restoration project

Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and ecological preservation, HUTCH Sri Lanka has joined forces with Rainforest Protectors Sri Lanka to launch a transformative rainforest restoration project in the Rajawaka Forest Reserve, Balangoda. This initiative marks a significant effort in safeguarding Sri Lanka’s biodiversity, rejuvenating forest ecosystems, and reinforcing corporate responsibility in climate action.
The first phase of this project took place on January 31st, 2025, with the participation of HUTCH employees and members of Rainforest Protectors Sri Lanka. They engaged in tree planting and conservation efforts, reinforcing their shared commitment to biodiversity protection and ecological sustainability. The project will be executed in three phases throughout the year, ensuring a long-term impact on the forest ecosystem.
