Grateful HC Judge attends bodyguard’s death anniversary
Judge Ilancheliyan at the tomb of Hemachandra
A religious ceremony to mark the fourth death anniversary of police sergeant Sarath Hemachandra who died protecting Jaffna High Court Judge Manikkawasagar Ilancheliyan, was held at his house in Chilaw on Thursday (22.) Judge Ilancheliyan, too, was present.
The judge also took part in religious activities with Sgt. Hemachandra’s family members. Ilancheliyan keeps in constant touch with the family and takes care of the late sergeant’s children’s education.
