Githmi wins Under 14 girls’ title

Ave Maria Convent, Negombo player Githmi Fernando won the Under 14 girls’ title of the ATF U14 Week I tournament continued at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association clay courts on Friday. She beat Ivanka Samarasinghe of USA in the final. In the boys’ final Om Verma of India beat Louis Knese of Germany 6-3, 6-4 to win the tournament.
