Doc arrested for photographing female counterpart changing clothes

Ragama Police, on Sunday, arrested a male doctor for taking photos of a female doctor changing clothes in her official residence at the Ragama hospital.
The suspect, attached to the Colombo National Hospital, was from Kalmunai, police said. A bachelor, he is currently residing at Wellampitiya.
Under interrogation, the suspect told police that he had come to know the female doctor through social media and he had visited her quarters to see her and taken her pictures with his mobile phone.
The female doctor has told police that she does not know the suspect.
The police have retrieved the pictures of the female doctor from the suspect’s phone.
The suspect produced before the Wattala Magistrate yesterday was remanded until July 16.
Further investigations are being conducted by Ragama Police under the supervision of OIC CI Buddhika Rajapaksa.
