The Story of my Finnish Pre -school

One morning my mom told me that I am going to a new nursery. After returning from Australia, it was my third school in six months. I have been fed up with numbers and letters. I was so happy when I walked into a new school. I saw Aunty Natali, a beautiful teacher. While my parents talked in the office, I was talking with my aunt about dinosaurs. Not the playground and not the beautiful school, that was my first impression. Even today I do not understand how she knew that I like dinosaurs.

From then on, even if it rained, my mom could not keep me at home. The nursery I go to is called Mini-me Early Learning Centre. At this school, it was not all about letters and numbers. We learnt a lot more, about games, about animals, about people, share and care, among other things. I still have the stickers and stars that my teachers gave me. Aunty Tahani, Aunty Ashbana, Aunty Natali, and Aunty Samra, you all are still in my heart. I love you all.

Dear Uncle Yasmeen, thank you for making this beautiful heaven for us. He asked me to attend public speaking class after pre-school. Now I am not afraid of making a speech on stage. Thank you for giving us a memorable and a knowledgeable childhood.

Let me tell you one more secret. This is all about Mini-me School, but now it is the first ever Finnish School in Sri Lanka. My sister has a lot more in the Finnish Nursery than I did.Uncle Yasmin and Mini-me Finnish pre-school I wish you all the best.
