Customs find narcotic drugs worth Rs. 7mn in uncleared packages
Narcotic drugs with a street value of Rs. 7 million were found in five uncleared packages at the Central Mail Exchange in Colombo last week.
As the packages m
ailed from USA, UK and Germany remained uncleared and the addresses in Werahera, Homagama and Kandy were found to be false, Customs opened them and discovered a variety of narcotic drugs.
