Avani Kalutara Resort proudly announces the opening of its first-ever themed F&B outlet, “Karadiya”, inspired by the rich history of 1800s Ceylon. This unique dining experience showcases beverages and food pairings made from locally sourced ingredients, including produce from the resort’s own garden, offering guests an authentic taste of local flavours with a modern twist.

Open to both resort guests and outside visitors, Karadiya adds a must-try stop to any visit to Kalutara, enriching the destination’s culinary landscape. The outlet was officially opened by Complex General Manager, Keith Tomkies, alongside Director of F&B, Asanka Ranawaka, and Resort Manager, Jude Silva.

“Karadiya” is a refreshingly cool spot in the resort with an outside seating facing the blues of the lagoon. With happy hours and stylish cocktails, the guests could either cozy up in a nook or explore the extensive menu, a monocle of taste.
