At least 40 killed in plane crash in central Nepal
BBC quoting officials reported that 40 bodies have been recovered from the site where a Yeti airlines plane with 72 people on board crashed in central Nepal
The Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu to the tourist town of Pokhara crashed on landing, catching fire.
Videos posted on social media show an aircraft flying low over a populated area before spinning sharply.
There were 68 passengers on board, including at least 15 foreign nationals, and four crew members.
Hundreds of Nepalese soldiers are involved in the operation at the crash site in the gorge of the Seti River, just one and a half kilometres from the airport.

All Ceylon Tamil Congress, Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi secure 6 seats each in Chavakachcheri Urban Council
The All Ceylon Tamil Congress [ACTC] and the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi [ITAK] secured six seats each in the 18 member Chavakachcheri Urban Council. The National Peoples Power [NPP] secured 3 seats while the Democratic Tamil National Alliance secured two seats and the Eelam People’s Democtatic Party secured a seat in the council.
The National Peoples Power [NPP] won 26 of the2 wards in the Moratuwa Municipal Council. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya which won one ward has secured 11 seats in the council.
The National Peoples Power won 11 of the 14 wards of the Seethawakapura Urban Council and have secured 13 seats in the 25 member council.
