The CID inquiring into the release of significant amounts of money to politicians from the President’s Funds during the Yahapalana administration (2016-2019) yesterday (07) recorded a statement from former President Maithripala Sirisena, according to sources.
The media has disclosed the identities of former ministers and MPs who obtained money from the President’s Fund.
