AKD on state visit to China
President Anura Kumara Disanayaka will undertake a four-day State visit to China, beginning tomorrow (14) at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
The Foreign Ministry said that President Disanayaka would hold bilateral discussions with President Xi Jinping on a range of areas of mutual interest and will also meet Chinese Premier Li Qiang and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, Zhao Leji.
This is the second state visit since the presidential election held on November 14, 2024. President Disanayake’s first visit was to India last December.
