AIA Insurance Lanka appoints as Independent Non-Executive Director
AIA Insurance Lanka Limited has announced the appointment of Indrajit Asela Wickramasinghe as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective January 7, 2025, pending approval from the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.
Mr. Wickramasinghe brings over 35 years of senior leadership experience across financial services and FMCG sectors. He served as Director/CEO of Union Bank for over nine years until his retirement in August 2024 and previously held key roles at NDB Bank and Reckitt and Colman. He holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK.
