Administration of justice in Sri Lanka is about the oldest in Asia – President
President Ranil Wickremesinghe in his address after opening the Welimada Court Complex on Friday (03) said that the administration of justice in Sri Lanka is about the oldest in Asia.
“The rule of law was applied and upheld in Sri Lanka before it was applied even in India or in Japan. The rule of law which was confined to a few countries, has become universal now and is included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which all have to follow”. the President said
