Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts during the afternoon or night. Fairly heavy showers above 75mm are likely at some places.

Showers may occur in Northern, Eastern, Uva and North-Central provinces and in Southern coastal areas during the morning.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
