Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, North-central and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.

Showers will occur at times in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya Districts. Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places in Galle, Matara, Kaluthara and Rathnapura districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in the North-western province.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces and in Mullaittivu and Polonnaruwa districts after 1.00 p.m.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Several spells of showers will occur in the North western province and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya Districts.
