Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Central, Uva and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Ampara, Galle and Matara districts during the morning.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.

Winds will be variable in direction and wind speed will be (15-25) kmph.

Sea areas around the island will be slight but strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
