Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Uva provinces in the evening or night.
Wind will be variable and wind speed will be (15-25) kmph in the sea areas around the island
Sea areas around the island will be Slight but strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
The public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
