Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
Showers will occur at times in Eastern, North Central and Uva provinces and in Hambantota and Matale districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be (20-30)kmph. Wind speed may increase up to 45 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coasts extending from Colombo to Kankasanthurai via Puttalam and Mannar and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
The sea areas off the coasts from Colombo to Kankasanthurai via Puttalam and Mannar and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota can be fairly rough at times. Strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
The public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers will occur at times in the Northern, North-central, Eastern and Northwestern provinces and in Matale and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Fairly Heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places in the Northern, North-central, and Northwestern provinces and in Trincomalee district.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.

There is a possibility of ground frost at some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district in the early hours of the morning.
Showers will occur at times in the Northern, North-central, Eastern provinces and in Matale and Nuwara-Eliya districts from today evening. A few showers will occur in the Uva and Northwestern provinces. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places elsewhere during evening or night.
