Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over the island during the evening or night. Showers may occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts in the morning too.
Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Eastern and Uva provinces.
Winds will be south-westerly over sea area around the island and speed will be (20-30) kmph.Wind speed may increase up to (40-45) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be fairly rough at times

Winds will be south-westernly and speed will be (25-35) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to (40-50) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar and from Hambantota to Pottuvil.
The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar and from Hambantota to Pottuvil may be fairly rough at times.
