Chamal to educate MPs on KNDU bill

Minister of Irrigation and State Minister of National Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management Chamal Rajapaksa would address the members of parliament at 2 pm on Aug 3 on the Kotelawala National Defence University Bill, Leader of the House and Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena told The Island yesterday.

The Minister said that the workshop had been organised for the Members of Parliament to counter false information being disseminated about the Kotelawala Defence University bill.

Minister Gunawardena said the bill would be taken for second reading stage debate on Aug 6 as per an agreement reached at the last party leaders’ meeting.
