This is an issue not only for Catholics; all Sri Lankans suffered due to the attacks. No one who wants to promote hatred and religious strife will receive our support. We believe there should be unity among different ethnic and religious communities all over the world
Members of the Maha Sangha joined Cardinal Ranjith and other black-clad worshippers outside St Anthony’s church, one of the sites attacked, carrying banners calling for justice.
Thousands of Catholics countrywide attended Sunday Mass in Churches dressed in black with prayers and protests calling for justice for those killed in Easter Sunday attacks.
