Allianz Customer Care Center relocated at Union Place

Allianz Lanka, one of Sri Lanka’s leading insurers and a member of the global Allianz SE Group, recently relocated its state-of-the-art Customer Care Center, from Borella to Union Place. The move marks an important milestone in Allianz Lanka’s commitment to offering world-class insurance solutions with enhanced accessibility and customer-centricity. The newly relocated Allianz Customer Care Center is now conveniently located at No. 323, Union Place, Colombo 02. This strategic move aligns with Allianz Lanka’s vision of providing easy access, including ample parking, for its valued customers, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience.

A special ceremony was held to mark the opening of the newly relocated Allianz Customer Care Center at Union Place on the 15th of August 2023, where a number of key personnel, staff and customers were present, including Alan Smee – CEO and Country Manager at Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited; Jayalal Hewawasam – CEO at Allianz Life Insurance Lanka Limited; along with rest of the senior leadership team. The presence of these high-ranking officials at the event underscored Allianz Lanka’s dedication to superior customer engagement and service standards.

The newly relocated Allianz Customer Care Center now showcases a contemporary architectural design that sets new industry benchmarks. It boasts modern amenities and facilities, aligning perfectly with Allianz Lanka’s unwavering commitment to maintaining global standards while fostering a customer-centric environment.

This historic shipment, dispatched from EWIS’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Samajasewapura, Sooriyawewa, underscores the company’s dedication to delivering world-class technology solutions. With over 11 years of expertise in manufacturing and assembly, EWIS Colombo Ltd has played a pivotal role in driving Sri Lanka’s ICT sector forward. As a Board of Investment (BOI) Section 17-approved company, EWIS has established the country’s first and only local computer manufacturing plant, paving the way for the nation’s growth in high-tech exports.

Speaking on this momentous achievement, Sanjeewa Wickramanayake, Chairman of EWIS Colombo Ltd, said: “This milestone is not just for EWIS but for Sri Lanka as a whole. IIHS partners with University of Surrey to transform healthcare education

The International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS), a pioneer in healthcare training for over 23 years, has partnered with the University of Surrey, UK, to revolutionise healthcare education in Sri Lanka and the broader South Asian region. This will create a world-class academic pathway for aspiring nursing and healthcare professionals, as well as young individuals seeking careers in the field. Under this agreement, IIHS and the University of Surrey will introduce a series of academic initiatives to enhance healthcare training and accessibility.

These include delivering internationally recognised nursing programmes that allow Sri Lankan and regional students to earn globally competitive qualifications in Sri Lanka.
